Like everyone has said, it really does depend on the context. If someone says something that is actually racist, and believes what they are saying, then that's at the highest level of offensive mouth-words, for me.
If it's just a poor-taste joke, and I know they don't mean it, it doesn't really bother me. Even if I don't think it's that funny. Sometimes my brother makes really racist jokes just to shock people, since he's not racist at all, but I get a bit tired of that. I think you have to be careful with ongoing jokes. I might be being really silly but I feel like maybe if you say something long enough sarcastically, or ironically, or in jest, it might eventually affect the way you think. Eg. I pretended to like the Pussycat Dolls because it shocked people. Now I almost do like them.
I find "cunt" a very offensive word, personally. I can understand how it doesn't bother some people, but it bothers me. I don't like it. It still depends on the context though. If someone says it really playfully, without trying to offend someone, I'll sort of ignore it. But if someone says it angrily, as a big angry scary cuss word, I don't like it. I don't get too offended if people who aren't close to me use it, but it kind of annoys me if people who love me start saying it in front of me, knowing perfectly well how it offends me. I'm not entirely sure why I hate it so much. I hate tantrums and anger and violence and stuff like that, maybe that's why. I know it's probaby silly.
Incidently, people who say that offensive things and insults are "just words" are idiots, in my opinion. Words are how humans communicate. Communicate offensively, watch people get offended.
