You know, it's not the Eaters of the Dead you need to worry about, wise woman, it's the Eaters of the Living.

And another thing, why does Jerry Goldsmith get dissed for this score?
Is it so bad? Ridley Scott used it for the climax of Kingdom of Heaven. Peeps wouldn't so quick to dismiss the score for even a bad Ridley Scott film. |

So do I. So does Ridley Scott apparently, since as I said, he opted to use it instead of Gregson-Williams' score for the climax. You throw the score over that scene spike's quoted and you have an excellent piece of cinema, imo.
But I still enjoy the film too. I'm a fan of John McTiernan, he's done some great work. The production was so erratic though. The sets were terrific, but who made the costumes? Why is one of the Norsemen wearing Conquistador armour 500 years before the Conquistadors existed? |

Kingdom of Heaven was a better film than this. However this film (and book) are quite good.

Vikings vs zombies, I like it. Don't rate the zombies' chances though, too many axes.

Heard that before. Unfortunately, the only way to watch the director's cut seems to be to buy the director's cut. Hmm. I wonder if LoveFilm.com have it, I still have 60 days free trial...

Hmm. And I guess technically Pathfinder was a Viking in a loincloth, which makes him a double hard bastard.
