Those things are less than a foot long and can kill whales by biting chunks out of them which then cause the whale to bleed to death without ever knowing. They've also been known to cut holes in submarine hulls.

The Star-nosed mole is cool. Wikipedia says it can identify it's food and eat it in only 120 milliseconds. It's the worlds fastest eater. And apparently it takes only 8 milliseconds to identify if something edible or not, which is apparently the speed limit for neurons.
