ROBOCOP is still proving themself
Do i need to post here?

Alex Murphy AKA Robocop, A hero
Snake Plissken, Can someone else be this cool?
John T Cable, can someone say "What are you prepared to do?" better?
Axel Foley, i love his attitude "i got thrown out of a f***ing window"
Kirk, Picard, Sisko all of them
Rocky Balboa, his spirit is what makes me admire this character.
John McClane "welcome to the party, pal"
Jack Carter, a man who chooses the wrong choices but never loses family loyalty.
Chance Boudreaux ("What kind of a name is Chance?" "My mumma took one")
John Matrix, The first action hero character
Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh
Jack O'Niell, the fairly dumb but cool SG-1 star
Conan The Barbarian
Mark Kaminski, Arrogant but funny "Don't drink and bake"

Theres more... I just can't remember them all.

Clarice Starling (Who would have guessed?)

There's tons of characters who I also really like but I despise posting huge lists with no comment so instead I'll just post one name and no comment.

Dutch in Predator.
Rambo
Obi-Wan as portrayed by Ewan McGregor (spl?)
Alain in Maximum Risk
Dillon in Alien 3
Hudson (goes without saying) as Hicks in Aliens
Captain Ramius played by Sean Connery in Hunt for Red Octobre
John McClane from Die Hard

Mephisto, I think this thread is about the CHARACTERS, not the actors...

Oh, and there's a diff. between GangstA and GangstER. GangstER is what the italian mafia is. GangstA is what a rapper with a gun is. I dun remember seein De Niro with a glock shoutin "YOU'Z MAH BITCH! POPPIN CAPS IN YO ASS, WESS SIYDE!"

Oh god, LOL, I just imagined that with De Niro's voice...

Opps Its changed now, nextime I will read the topic before I post and think before I post. Oh, and "YOU'Z MAH BITCH! POPPIN CAPS IN YO ASS, WESS SIYDE!" is just a stereotype of gangsta beef "talk" and in the movie "Heat" De Niro is a gangsta

Yes, I've only seen one person name Dr. Hannibal Lecter as a favorite character, and that person was myself(he's at the top of my list). Also, Guan, his name is spelled Lecter, not Lector, you heathen.

Well he's my favourite actor, his acting in Get Carter (2000) was awesome, definately one of the most underapreciated films in history. The only other actor i have seen cry on screen was another fav of mine Schwarzenegger in End Of Days but it was half heartedly, not many actors will go to the lengths Stallone will because most are n00bs

I forgot about that movie, that was an awesome villain. I was going to be Zorg for Halloween last year, but instead was a shitty evil Roman emperor... Gary Oldman has a lot of good characters, now that I think of it.

I couldn't agree with you more mate! Get Carter was an awesome movie all round. All the actors in it did great jobs I thought. His niece was great. You know that scene on the roof towards the end was filmed in reverse, first her, then him, instead of the way it's presented in the movie? She was SOO great, that she actually had Stallone in tears when he started his speech right after (which is before in the movie) which is why he's so great in that scene. He's crying real empathic tears!

End of days had a fantastic job by Arnold. Sometimes, you really get the impression he's depressed enough to kill himself. These two are sorely underated.

Another of my favorite Stallone scenes is the monologue at the end of First Blood. He's always been capable.

Why do you even care, Guan? Do you not like Lecter or something? I don't understand, since you yourself have never seen the Lecter films, so how can you seem so unimpressed by his character?
