Omega Brood - Alien-Only Clan Returns

Hello Everyone,

I am starting back up my old Clan from long ago, Omega Brood. For those who have been around since AVP2 might still remember us, for the rest, tis a shame you missed out. Omega Brood will once again be an Alien-Online Clan, and if all goes well, the dominating Alien clan on the servers. As of right now, we are PC gamers, but will also expand into 360 and PS3 if we have enough members planning on playing on those systems.

Also, with AVPsource planning to setup tournaments for Clans to play in, Omega will naturally be a part of these.

So, if you are looking for a Clan, an Alien clan, you enjoy sneaking around in shadows and attacking without warning, the thrill of coming out as number one, training to be the best at what you do, and of course, love to have fun, then feel free to apply to Omega Brood and help us return Omega to its rightful place, as the most terrifying, and most dangerous Alien Clan on the servers.

So, for anyone that is interested I would like to let you know that Omega Brood is now officially setup on the Aliens vs. Predator Source AVP 3 - Gaming Community - Powered by vBulletin website, our forums and home page are both found there. Once I receive your application, I will notify you if you have been accepted. Upon being accepted you can then add Omega to your Tag Box in the websites profile and download the chat program which will give you access to the Clans forums.

I doubt it, theres always a chance that something will not be exactly as you expect it to be as soon as the game is released. As Rebellion has said though, there will be updates and such for the game, so, if they are by chance unbalanced, all we would need to do is wait for them to fix it. I have faith.





BUT, if by chance they continue to fail, then we might branch out to Preds, but thats it. Cause I HATE marines, (but they are tasty).

I finished with |-BC-|, Broken Circle but I was also part of AvPNews, 101st, B-A-M, and RIP during playing AvP2. I fought a few Omega guys in my time, pretty good fun, be nice to see you back to it in February.

I had a lot of memories on Mplayer with Aliens Versus Predator. This game is what made me learn HTML for my mplayer profile and it made me learn photo editing and 3D modeling so that I could make use of the tools released by the Leinen brothers. At the ripe age of about 14 years old, I was neglecting my real social life which was full of children turning to drugs so that I could socialize on Mplayer and take interest in the mentally stimulating environment of the internet. Here is a list of clans I remember from Mplayer back in those days...

2D4 -- To Die For
AE -- Advanced Elite
BC -- Body Count
Digital -- Digital
FA -- Unknown acronym
FMS -- Flip Mode Squad
FR -- "Forever clan" famous for its pan-gaming-world-hated leader, FR-Pennywise.
Godz -- Named themselves accordingly. Godz-Loki. Godz-Thor. Godz-Eros. Etc.
LD -- Living Dead -- Interesting clan considering the founder died and several members decided to carry the name on ad infinitum due to his death and the title of the clan.
SB -- Unknown acronym, but a famous player -- Ducky SB was there
TTC -- The Terminal Clan
USCM -- We should all know what this acronym means.
USD -- Unseen Death
YTL -- Yautja Thei-dei Legion

Anyone remember any others? Chances are, I remember them too -- but didn't think of them in the two minutes it took to write this post.

haha, I remember all those clans, and fighting many in them. I'm excited to see some of the old clans and players returning to the fight, though the question is, how many of them will still be playing on the PC, and how many will be switching over to the 360 or PS3?

I know this is massively outdated and chances are no one will see this, but I used to be in the FR clan (FR-Mr.White) and seeing you describe FR-Pennywise as pan-gaming-world-hated leader is making me laugh so much I had to reply. Those were crazy days and he definitely had a knack for stirring up as much trouble as he could. Things were pretty fun on the inner-circle though, never short of an argument or 10!

I seem to remember TTC as being 'The Terminator Clan' though I could be wrong. I also remember there was a WC Clan which was FR's sworn nemesis and a very small, early clan called AA for....Alien Annihilators, I think.

Anyhow, I wonder if anyone will ever see this!
