So, who has the A&P refresh li

I ordered my mm5 masked Pred from toymaniacs.com last monday and it arrived yesterday.

My local Gamestop got the series in Thursday and I purchased the ALIENS warrior.

Pretty cool figures for what they are.

BTW I'm in OKlahoma City.

I got the masked two-pack predator and the warrior alien. I was gonna buy the other two but I only had enough for two and the ones I got took higher priority

The new masked pred is easily my most favorite predator figure Mcfarlane has put out now.

A Gamestop here in Overland Park, KS, had some, so I picked up the two Alien figs. The first one is nothing new (though I like the base), but the Aliens warrior is a sweet addition. I'll probably pick a couple up and house them with my McF Queen.

Coincidentally, I went to Toys R Us, Suncoast, and EB Games (all of them in the same mall as Gamestop except TRU, of course), and neither of those stores had them in yet. Guess Gamestop got an early shipment, maybe.

I was disapointed when I didnt see them in stock at Suncoast, generally they have good prices. (at least, compared to the others around here) But I was too damn impatient to wait until they were in

I was going to buy the A1 figure this Wednesday, assuming it could be had for $9.99. Nope, the local Gamestop wanted $12.99, and it was $9.99 or bust for me. Guess I'll have to wait a couple months. A little OT, but these were the going rates for MM6 in Manchester, CT:
Spencer's Gifts: $14.99
Gamestop & KBToys: $12.99
Toys 'R Us: $11.99
Electronics Boutique: $10.99

the third link you listed is the whole new line. It's basicaly just a "refresh" of the old figures, more than a repaint but less than a whole new toy. The 12 inch figures come out next month, and are the alien and predator from the two-pack that was released many moons ago.

The new mm5 masked pred has a longer wire connecting his wrist to the back of his arm so you can pose his control panel on the top of his arm.

Strange. I was in my local Forbidden Planet today and I didn't see them. Must be getting a later release in the UK.

Though to be honest I don't think I'll bother buying them now. The more I look at the McFarlane A/P figures, the less I like them. With the exception of the alien warrior in the A/P box, they're all dreadfully out of proportion and the designers seem to have taken too many artistic liberties, especially with the AR warrior (which was always my favourite design). On top of that I'm simply running out of space to display them. I picked up the Palisades Elder bust today and somehow managed to cram it onto my already overflowing AvP display. Any more and they'd become an eyesore.

That said, I'll probably end up buying all the AvP predators, and I won't pass up the chance to own a predalien if one is released.

killertoys.com has a nice offer : 9.95 per figure!

I just ordered the set of 4 figures to the Elder Predator mini-bust by Palisades which is in stock there now as well.

I'm Swiss...but importing them to Europe from the States comes much cheaper for me than buying it here (even with the shipping and customs costs!).

I found them at Wal-Mart and picked them all up in one shot.

They look great, IMO. I didn't think I was going to buy them, but I'm an A/P junkie.

My shelf looks sick now. I have all the Preds on one side, and all the Aliens on the other facing eachother as if they're about to scrap. Then, in the middle, I have the MM5 AvP set with each specie on their rightful side. w00t.

Wal Mart?! I didn't think they carried McFarlane stuff anymore, other than the sports figures! I haven't seen anything McF stuff at Wal Mart or Target since...man...I thinking it was Spawn wave 6 (with the Viper King). Maybe shortly thereafter, but not much.

I know, I didn't expect for them to be there. I was just walking down the aisle, and saw all kinds of models in clamshell packaging. Reflexively, I looked, and there they were: the refresh line.

I was like "Oh shit, what the fuck..." I yanked 'em off and went right to the cashier.

i just got my set in the mail today of all 4. I was only gonna get the masked pred and Warrior Alien but of course none of the stores I have been to have them so I looked on eBay and was lucky enough to find a set of all 4 that I ended up winning for $26. With shipping and insurance it ended up being $39 but hey, that's not too bad considering if I had bought them seperate on eBay I would have ended up paying $30+ for just the two figures.

Also I didn't realize until after I ordered them there is a variant with the masked pred, either a bloody skull/spine and bloody hand or no blood at all on the hand or the skull/spine. Strange but I ended up with the bloody one which is cool.

Truth, but still, on EVERY mcfarlane item I've bought, somehting breaks rediculously easily. By the way, do you think it's possible to fix the wristblades and still have them be retractable?

One of the wristblades on my original AvP MM5 set Predator broke and I used the minutest dab of ultra-superglue. Stuck like new and even I have difficulty telling which wristblade it actually was now.

If you were a ninja with superglue like Eyers it's possible, but i think you can actually send in for replacement wristblades. I think they're free too, though I could be wrong.

I bought the Warrior Alien from Aliens today, and I am impressed. Yes, there were very few structural changes from the Alien Alien, but it feels like a completely different figure. I really like the new tail, and the new ridged head is a lot creepier.
