Is anyone else having severe memory crashes? I cant play more than 10 seconds without it crashing out?

It was fine earlier. Ancehs been having memory crashes since 1.8 started but only in small bursts. Most of the time its fine.

Well this is near costant.

Its the same on a local game so its nothing to do with the server.

Completely unplayable at the moment

Ah, well in that case, quick announcement. Not sure if this is intentional or a side effect from recent patches.

A creeper CAN kill you even if you are wearing brand new diamond armor and have full health. This has happened to me about 5-6 times in the last 2 weeks.

Regular creeper. 2 deaths (one of them with brand new diamond armor/full health) I was looking at them face on. (hate running around not paying attention, freaking endermen paranoid!) I've seen charged creepers, not on our server world mind you, but the two that killed me face to face were of the normal variety.

The others kinda just creeped up on me just like a creeper would.

In all seriousness, I highly doubt any of them were charged creepers, I mean what are the odds that I'd run into the 6 only living (well, more like short lived) specimens of charged creepers on our server?

I did the tops of my walls in a roman style columns and sloped roof, i started working on the corners, doing a dome but the one I finished didn't turn out the way i wanted to i've got to start that over.

Went on a little adventure to the Nethers with Duo. Lots of fun that. Building a bridge and having ghasts trying to blow us up all the time. Fun time indeed.

Surprisingly enough, neither of us died on this little excursion of ours. Lots of laughs were had though. Even made out with a decent supply of glowstone and mushrooms.

Also if you ever get into voice chat with Alex, be sure to go NYAAUAUAH ala ghast. Lulzy indeed!

Well. Second trip into the nethers wasn't as fun. We died. Then when I saw my items, they disappeared in-front of my eyes

Was about to join you the first time, but this horrendous internet connection at this place cannot be trusted at all, and with the new lighting updates to Minecraft, my work/school laptop which I play the game on starts to show its suffering when I try to play. Getting a new stationary rig (first one in 6 years!) for the release of BF3, will be able to go on proper problem free MC adventures with you guys just when the proper adventure update is out hopefully!

Also, among the new updates in 1.9 is the new randomly generated Nether dungeons/structures. They look rather ace in the video preview I saw, a much needed addition to make it even more awesome

If you check out their other videos, they go through other rather interesting aspects of the 1.9 updates such as NPCs in villages, new mobs, snowman "sentry guns", and so on.

Welp 1.8 is nearly useless to us, hear we need to wipe in 1.9, so my server sits empty being as we haven't even wiped from 1.7 yet, just kind of waiting.

Finally decided I should probably script minecraft to start automatically too, heh.

There's been no need to wipe from 1.7 so far. Newly generated areas on the outside of the map now use the new biomes so I don't see why the same thing can't happen with 1.9.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as Yelsent. My rig struggled as it was with MInecraft and the new lighting makes it even more difficult. New laptop sometime in next fortnight, for sure!

Just bagged new laptop today. A Dell XPS. Rockin the HD pack like a grown-up WOOOOOO. I'll be on a lot more, of course. After I've played some more up to date shit for a day or two first.

Miss out on some somewhat statically generated elements, but I've heard rumor that changes in 1.9.

Also, ability to tweak height coming somewhat soon.

So Anceh and myself are exploring and building a new house near a potentially profitable mine. After running off to gather more resources from my house, and becoming hopelessly lost in the process, I ran into a lake that had a lava flow inside it. Curiosity taking over, I dove into said lake and slowly made my way to the edge of the water. I was....shocked at what I saw. Image below, any clues as to what the fuck I'm looking at?

No the area was larger as well, but since I was at the time hopelessly lost, I didn't explore it at all, wanted to, but at the same time, the whole wooden structures that were in there creeped me the fuck out.

If either of you ever want to try and find it, I did make a circle of torches around the lake. If Sicamon ever updates the map and you can get him to sit still for the 40 minutes it'll take you to download the map from him, it should hopefully show up.

I eventually found my way back home at the GG city. I somehow walked from this new location that Anceh and I decided to make and ended up at my Nyan Cat and the flaming spiral tower. That Nyan Cat and structure never looked so beautiful!
