This poll probably won't generate many genuine votes from ethnic members because the majority of the forum members are white and middle class, so I guess it can be opened up to whitey as well.

What do you personally find more offensive? Input from ethnic "minorities" welcome! Also if you are one of those high brow types you can get into a discussion on the use and development off verbal "attacks" and how they impact on others or yourself.

I can't really say I find more of one over the other, but then again isn't it kind of a silly question, why do you even ask if one is found more than the other? Statistically speaking you'll probably find more of the first, although that's based on the population of a particular gender, whereas ethnic slurs are basically infinite, you can find them in text books, common speech, various communication mediums such as radio and TV, etc.

Where do I find more of those two ideas being equally offensive, well that's a tough one, I suppose it would depend on whatever culture you're looking at, but you can't really generalize that one too well.

Where do I find more of where neither is offensive, I suppose at a place like GG where it is common to insult people for no particular reason and get away with it.

Now that last option is just certifably ludicrous, you can't really find more of that idea, well, I suppose you could talk to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, they'd be happy to point out racism where it doesn't exist, they make a living off of it.

I'm a minority. I dont really find either really offensive. Depends more on whos mouth it comes from and what actions are a result against it. I find people who resort to ethnic insults a result of that they can't really think of something better to insult me with. I say dont insult a man because of the color of his skin. Insult the man because he's an idiot.

Oddily enough I find more minorities have a pinch if not full fledged racism and alot of whites are more offended by things dealing with racism.
