Ryan Reynalds is a great choice for Deadpool I think, however, he's not wearing the mask, which is a huge no no. Not only that, but he doesn't look covered in scars from head to toe, which is another big no no. I'm a little miffed about how they are portraying Deadpool so far. I'll wait till the movie comes out though before I totally bash it. I'll give it a chance.

Ahhh, forgetting a big bit: The reason Deadpool entered the Weapon X program was because he had terminal cancer. They promised to cure him. When he went in, he was a normal looking dude. When he came out..... Not so much.

He can be funny, which is really what's largely required of the Deadpool character. However, a lot of his humour hinges on breaking the 4th wall - this might stick out like a sore thumb within the context of this film, which seems to be going for a serious narrative.

Deadpool is a favorite character of mine, I dont like that he doesnt wear the mask or have the tragic story of the cancer leaving him disfigured.
Glad to see a fan favorite gambit in there, hated the frist two x-men movies, liked the 3rd the best because it FINALLY gave me what I wanted...A huge freaking battle between them in which they actually used their powers like in the comics. I dont care the acting wasn't as good, the story was ridiculous, or whatever the first two were snooze fest.

It wasn't the cancer that scarred him, it was the cure. Ironnny..... (And it's ALWAYS been that story.) He probably will get the mask at some point, because it's a defining characteristic.

Well, all things considered, X3 would've been mildly acceptable IF it wasn't an X-men movie. As a Wolverine movie it was pretty much right.

Seriously, this movie could absolutely suck, I don't care, DEADPOOL! The man beat daredevil. He held off Hercules, Captain America, Goliath, Falcon and Iron Fist all at once! He's solid gold.
