Xfire Chooses WoW Movie Finalists: Awaits Voting by Heavy Breathing Nerds
By LostToys @ 01:52 PM :: PC: Role-Playing :: Comment Now
  GameDaily is reporting that Xfire has selected five finalists in the categories of Short Film, Comedy, Music Video/Dance and Drama/Action videos for thier World of Warcraft Summer Movie machima awards contest.
"We are absolutely astounded by the quality of the submissions that we have received this year," said Mike Cassidy, CEO of Xfire. "It has been extremely difficult for us to narrow it down to just 20 finalists in four categories, and I expect it will be just as hard for our members to select their favorites."

Hit up Xfire.com/WoW until Monday, October 23 to vote for the winners. The Winners will be announced Thursday, October 26.

Morning Brief - Destroy Everything You Touch Edition
By LostToys @ 12:00 AM :: In-House: Morning Brief :: Comment Now
  I am mother f'ing addicted to Ladytron. Just recently got around to buying a couple of CDs, and The Witching Hour has been pretty much spinning non-stop. Ladytron reminds me of a poppish Portishead or Rippin' Kitten. I also started listening to The Go Team CD, and I feel like I have some how been transported back to high school and forced to listen to an "alternative" band. Which is, in this case, not a bad thing. I highly recommend their top tier song, Huddle Formation.

What new music is rocking your boxers?
