The Top Relevent Dreamcast Games For Today's Gamers

In rather odd coincidence, as our own resident Tre-ful Dead has been hitting the Dreamcast sauce as of late, Retro Gaming has released a new entry titled "The Best Dreamcast Games For Today: The Top Titles That Still Matter".
It's pretty easy to find a list of "The Top 10 Dreamcast Games" or some similar ranking, but most of them were written back when the console was still on the retail scene and almost all of them only compare the games against other Dreamcast games.

This is all fine if the Dreamcast is the only console you own and ever plan to own. However, I know for a fact that most Dreamcast owners now are hardcore retro fans that happen to own a few different consoles -- both old and new. There may also be a few gamers out there wondering if they should bother adding a Dreamcast to their collection. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to develop a list of games that are still relevant in today's gaming market because of their unique gameplay that has not been improved upon on other consoles.

Some good picks in there, but the quality of writing in that article is horrible. Lots of typos, wrong words being used, and even setences that just don't make any sense at all.

Not a mention in there that the new port of SF3 Third Strike is vastly superior to the old DC one. Saying F355 is more arcade like than GT or Sega GT? F355 has one of the most accurate driving models ever. They talk about ports of Crazy Taxi on newer consoles and claim there are no improvements, but Crazy Taxi 3 has all the maps from 1 and 2, plus a whole new Vegas map, and support for higher resolutions.

I also have an issue with them claiming the DC shooter genre was dead until Ikaruga showed up. The DC probably had the best shooter genre next to PS1 and Ikaruga was one of the last shooters to come out for the system. The Psyko games were cool.

The only game that I can immediately think of that should have been on that list somewhere was LeMans 24 Hours. The graphics were amazing, it had 4 player splitscreen, and the realtime 24 hour race was hardcore.

I love my DC so much! :)

I'm all over REZ, I totally forgot about that one. Power stone too.

I've been seeing a lot of shooters far pre-dating Ikaruga that I want also, so I agree to those sentiments as well.
